Diffee Lincoln understands that sometimes people need extra cargo space when driving around El Reno. A properly installed roof rack can be equipped with the accessories you need to carry a cargo box, bicycle, or even a canoe.

When you're loading a roof rack, make sure that your cargo doesn't exceed the maximum weight rating of the vehicle or the rack. These two numbers are different and should be respected. When driving with a rack on, be wary of areas with limited clearance. These include parking garages.

To make it easy to remove your rack when you don't need it, put a bit of copper grease on the bolts. This will keep them from seizing when you tighten them. Make sure that all of the bolts are tightened to the correct torque so that they stay in place. When not in use, removing the rack can improve your gas mileage.
