The Acura RDX is another strong rival, but it falls short of the Corsair in some critical categories. The Corsair's 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter engines both handily out-muscle the RDX's sole 272-hp 2.0-liter option while delivering superior fuel economy. The RDX's 10-speed automatic transmission is a notable feature, but the Corsair's eight-speed unit is smoother and more responsive. Inside, the Corsair's luxurious, tech-laden cabin outshines the RDX. The Corsair offers genuine wood trim, 24-way seats, and an available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster - all features you won't find in the Acura.

Lexus builds a solid luxury compact SUV in the NX, but it can't quite match the Corsair's all-around excellence. The Corsair's engines beat the NX's base 2.5-liter and optional 2.4-liter units in both horsepower and torque. The NX's infotainment system, with its awkward touchpad interface, is consistently criticized as being distracting and difficult to use while driving. The Corsair's SYNC 3 system, with its large touchscreen and intuitive layout, is far more user-friendly. The NX performs well in crash tests, but its driver-assist suite is less comprehensive than the Corsair's Co-Pilot360 package.

As a stalwart in the segment, the Mercedes GLC provides stiff competition. However, a closer look reveals several areas where the Corsair comes out ahead. The Corsair's base 2.0-liter engine boasts 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque, surpassing the GLC300's 241 hp and 273 lb.-ft. The Corsair's 2.3-liter engine upgrade offers a best-in-class 295 horsepower, while the GLC's optional engines focus more on efficiency than power. Speaking of efficiency, the Corsair posts better city and highway fuel economy numbers than the GLC300. While both interiors are handsomely appointed, the Corsair offers some lavish options like 24-way massaging seats that you won't find in the Benz. The GLC's safety tech is certainly impressive, but the Corsair's Co-Pilot360 system is more comprehensive, with standard features like Evasive Steering Assist.

Cadillac's XT4 is a stylish newcomer, but it doesn't quite measure up to the Corsair's high standards. The XT4's 2.0L engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque, falling short of the Corsair's potent powertrains. The Corsair also achieves better fuel economy, with its 2.0-liter engine achieving 22/29 mpg city/highway compared to the XT4's 21/29 mpg. While the XT4 offers some solid tech features, it lacks the Corsair's available wireless charging pad, Head-Up Display, and 24-way adjustable seats. The Corsair also outperforms the XT4 in safety, with its standard Co-Pilot360 system including more advanced driver-assist features than Cadillac's offering.
