When to Get Fuel System Service
There are no hard and fast rules about when to get fuel system service. However, some components of your car's fuel system may require routine service every 30,000 miles or less. Listen and look for common signs of a dirty fuel system:

- Your car shudders when idling
- Your car loses power during towing or uphill climbs
- Your engine is slow to respond
- Your car is slow to accelerate after you step on the gas pedal
If any of these things are true, it's probably time to have your car's fuel system serviced.
