Recalls 101
Recalls come from manufacturers or the NHTSA when your tires, car seats, motor vehicle equipment or your vehicle presents a safety risk. Recalls may result in repurchase of your vehicle or a safety enhancement campaign entailing free repairs/upgrades here at Diffee Lincoln. Follow the manufacturer's interim safety guidance for best results.
How to Check for Recalls
Check for recalls by entering your vehicle's VIN at the NHTSA website. The government app and website, Safercar, also lets you locate recalls by inputting your vehicle's VIN. Also, by keeping your vehicle registration current, you're eligible to receive automatic recall alerts from the manufacturer.
